Default New REDS Racing M3T .12 Engine!

Hi!!
I received from the REDS Racing Factory their new .12 engine!
Looks good and I'wondering how it will perform on the track. Unfortunately the winter season is just coming, so I'm going to test the performance of this engine at next year's championship.
The engine is now Picco based and comes with muffler, header, 1 plug, a lot of stickers and also there was a beatifoul REDS Racing Shirt inside

Is easy to break in, fitting / alignments were perfect on ours.
Really good power from low to top end.
We run about 10 tanks so only getting 4:20 per tank but already speed is up there with the top line Novas.

Time will tell if durable.

Hi TomB

Yes, you can order these engines directly from REDS Racing Factory!
They deliver very fast and will give you a really good support if there are any matters.
Just send a E-Mail to them and they will contact you.

Hey Tom, you are gonna love these Check out Walters web site,

http://www.walterrchobby.com.au/inde...r-engines.html

I don't think he has stock yet but give Jay a call to check on ETA. If he cant help yet try here,

http://www.toprc.eu/en/cars/engines-motors/nitro-110

Ryan will be running these next year.

cheers Warren. They look like a slick looking engine. I'm a big fan of torquey engines, so i'm keen to try this as i hear it is picco based...also Murnan has said good things about it, so it has been blessed by the man himself

i'll check out that website, but i think ordering direct from Reds sounds like the best option

cheers,

PS: great work at the Nats. If i can convince some of the Mbank boys to go to the Vic titles in Jan 2012 i'll see you there.

Hey Tom, would love to see some of you Sydney guys at the Vics.
Will have a chat to the weather gods to see if we cant improve on the Nats.

You can try Reds direct but I spoke to Mario the other day and I think you will find that now he has an official distributor in Australia he would prefer all enquiries to go through them. As I say give Jay a call at Walters to check on ETA. If his prices are anything like his other items they will be more than competitive.

nah, but i wouldn't mind trying this engine out after the RB dies (which is a long way away i guess as it's only new). Being Picco based i recon this engine would be ballistic with a few tweaks from Murnan

The report from the Winter Nats with Diatta running this motor is he was quick but that motor had no legs. Very torquey but couldnt keep up with some of the other engines. Not sure if it was a gearing issue but going to keep my eye on this thread to gain some more info. I do like the idea that this motor is 20+ grams lighter than the competitors
