Default Sleeve polishing

Is there any benefits to poishing the exterior of the sleeve?

My opinion no. Even if you polish it, after one tank it will oxdize.
It is smoth enough after OD is ground.

depends on what you want to accompolish. I have discussed this in depth in the past. I still do it to create an effect but its not what most people think. I actually want to create a boundary layer and do it in other places in the engine also.

every tuner has their Ideas.
