dynamite 12 spd engine
 

I have been out of the RC hobby for awhile as you can tell by the engine i am asking about. I have a dynamite 12 spd engine in a HPI RS4 2, that is about 10yrs old, i just recently brought it back out and the engine was running fine for about 8 tanks, now it has lost about half of is power. Can this engine be rebuilt or is there another engine out there thats cheap and makes simular power.

This car is just used on the street just for fun and mainly is used by my 2yr old (he does the gas i steer) so i dont need anything that has crazy power or is fast.

You can get a decent engine to keep you running for around the $100 mark, even less depending on what you look at.
