Default Which one you pick Max MX21MAX ABC vs Novarossi 321P

Hi,

Has anyone tried both? Which one you would pick? Is Max MX21MAX ABC much faster than 321P ? It is about $100 difference and is it worth to get Max ABC over 321P?

Thanks.

I have Max 21 in my Evolva. It is very very fast, but I ve never seen 321p in action though, so I can't compare. Few weeks ago I posted on this forum regarding best stock 21 eng and most of 'em prefer the 321P. I bought the MAX over 321P because my LHS offered me a good price, if not I would have ordered the 321P.

Get the Rex 321p. That is the most powerful stock engine now.

Thanks for the reply.

I heard lot of good feedback with these 2 engines. Since it is not too much price difference (within $100). Does anyone owns both ? Is MAX ABC much faster than 321P or just very minor difference in speed and power?

I have Novamax 21 ABC and JP R1, both are very very strong and fast engines but they have different powerband.

On the Max the power is very smooth and more torque, the JP screams high, when I run the max, I normally run higher gearing since it has tons of torque, and when I run JP, I normally run lower gearing let the motor scream!

If I were to choose again, I would get another Novamax.

Default 321P

I run both novamax and 421p,prefer the novamax as it is much easier to tune. 421 is very smooth very high rpm motor, aac version of 321p. The 421 is marginaly faster but less consistent to tune.
