Default Mugen X12... better without carb restrictor?

Would the Mugen X12 run better at all without the carb restrictor?

better in what? w/o the restrictor you can have more air into the carb, hence, faster speed--if the tunning is right. Is that better? I don't know. What I know is that I run my Rody w/o one.

No, slower is better. Why would I want to go faster??

I guess it also depends on if your track runs by Roar rules. That is why the restrictor is in.
