The Picco Torque is my first Picco motor and I'm very impress with the pricing, durability and performance of the motor. I run 25% nitro and did not experience any real run time issues. I'm almost finished with my 3rd gallon on the same piston and sleeve. I'm on my 3rd conrod because I change them every gallon as a precaution only. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, I still using the same glow plug. After this weekend at the Novarossi Challenge, I'm sure I'll be into my 4th gallon with great performance out of the motor .

Can Mario make up his mind? So what is next?

Hello guys, i got a serious problem while i was attending to my 2 local races past last month. Overall the engine was just perect with great power and nice top speed but unfortunately sometimes when i was passing the turn after the straight the engine just cut off for no reason. It had nice idling when entering pits nice smoke on throttle exiting turns but just this weird thing on the turn after the big straight also on both 2 tracks i attended. Any idea of what was going wrong?

Are you using an inline fuel cooler? This tends to help keeping back pressure when you let off throttle after the long straight. Could also be slightly lean on bottom.

If i understand correct, do u mean the one that is between the fuel tank and the carburator? I am not using this just the one after the exhaust to the fuel tank. Thx for the info though.

I think a better question would be: Can he come up with an engine that really works. None of the on-road engines of the brands you listed after NR really made an impact, did they?

Indeed a good question. I also wonder why no Sirio based engine, is there something going on at Starmotor?

+1 had the conversation with a friend & we were thinking the same thing on Sirio especially that the U.S. distributor Team Epic is looking at another direction

Ernie has gone through every engine brand, twice. So he's no indication at all.

I rather think that Sirio told MR to get lost, since all the crap with the Reds engines fell back on them, although the base product (Sirio engine) doesn't have the same problems.

Lets see how it plays out with Picco...

I remember, when Mario left NR, a lot of people said, that there would be no good Nova engines after that.

Looks like he was given too much credit and the name Rossi alone is not enough

The indication for the end user who really likes the Sirio brand suffers with no real support in the U.S.

Which makes it hard for any company to establish themselves.
Everyone loves to try out something new but the most popular engines being used in the U.S.
Are mostly supported by having a good base distribution
So good luck to Reds
Wonder how much different the engine will be compared to Picco Torque & other Picco based engines
