JIm: Yea.. I didn't realize that you're UK person. But don't you facing high inflection in your country now? If yes, then cross your finger with us together and hope QE3 will not be coming. Anyway, at that price $640, you should get a Nova in Asia or USA. It is the top class Nova engine price with better resale value. No every engine has resale value. I know I know... a used engine not worth a lot but it is still better then nothing.
Scott Fisher is right, my last sentence wasn't for you. Sometime a little bitter is fun.
Scott Fisher: I know being a distributor for buy and sell engine is not easy to cover all the expenses/overhead for a company. Without a good budget for starting up, this business it is difficult to be susses. Even with good budget, it is still very difficult, especially at this economy situation.

The come out of the BP factory in Italy. My friend was there three weeks ago for a couple of hours before coming back to South Africa. Small but impressive.

BP experience
Guys,
I wanted to post up my experience with the 935RTC.
1) ran the engine on a break in bench for 2 tanks using byrons 25% w/ 11% oil. I wrapped the head in tin foil and preheated with a heat gun to approx 160F. No issues here. The needles were spot on. I think i may have increased the idle a bit, but not much else.
2) installed engine in car, and ran at the track for about 5 more tanks. I ran the engine not blubbery rich, but rich enough with a lot of smoke. Short blasts, around the track, keeping heat in the engine. temps were around 170-180. I also made sure to preheat the engine before each start up. Also engine responded well to all needle adjustments.
3) Race Day: Engine still had decent pinch. Had it tuned to about 85%. The engine made really good power all the way through the rpm range. Obviously, this is all dependent on gearing and clutch setup, which I think was pretty good. Most of the guys were running Nova's, and Im confident this could be one of the fastest engines out there. I'm using a Novarossi medium length manifold with a 2015 pipe. Another bonus is i'm getting over 5 minutes on a tank! My home track is Speedworld, in Roseville, CA, which is a tad smaller than your average 8th scale track, and could be part of the reason for the fuel mileage.
Overall, im really please with the performance of this engine. On a side note, I had a 35+21 Tuned & Broken in, that on the fifth tank, the piston skirt broke! A $600 paper weight!
So if your tired of the Novarossi bull-s, and want another alternative, this engine is a great choice.

I to impressed with the engine. I was a nova guy but started running BP thanks to the sponsorship from Garen and BP. See you at Rams.

Received and break in the 935 RTC, the engine is extremely loud with Nova 2015 pipe, it ran about 1L 5% fuel, now is time to the track to run another 1L fuel in 25%. lol
