Nova L3 or Mugen X12
 

Trying to find out which motor is better, the x12 is not turbo and the l3 is. Also the L3 has a micro cast piston which I am not sure makes a difference


Wondering about the micro cast piston..seem they are short lived

Microcasting has its pluses and minuses. It performs better at the high end of the temperature range, but yes it does wear a little faster.

The L3 is a different beast. Its a long stroke designed for short tracks. They are great motors.
