problem
 

hi ..i got a mrx3 and i am having a few problems...
the main one is when i accelerate the engine roars but nothing happens and then if i take my finger of the trigger then put it back on.the car accelerates ok...but it does this when i am driving around the track too....

any ideas please

Sounds like clutch or 1st gear oneway.
 

Sounds like you have a potential problems in a couple areas.
First I would dissaseemble the clutch. Make sure that the flywheel is snug on the shaft, and that the flyweights are not jamming ior sticking in the flywheel. Make sure that the clutch spring is set at the correct distance, and that you have the correct clutchbell endplay. If that all specs out you may have a probelm with the first gear oneway bearing. It may be slipping. You may one to try cleaning it thorughly and or replacing it. Just afew ideas.

i will strip it down and clean and change the bearings in the housing on the engine cogs....

is this ok
