Let me tell you my experience with it lately.

I modified one D21B and installed on my 950R.(Don't be doubt!) And join a local on-road race on 18,July. 1/8 scale only has 30 entries,I'm the 6th fast guy that day. (That means my engine was not slow under my super-mod!) After 40 minutes A main,I only got 4th place. (Attention! After 40mins more than 40k+ rpm running!!!) The engine work fine from the start to the end. No any problem at all! All parts are the same with D21B just with some mod.........So I can promise you that the durability is ok on your buggy which is only about 30~35k rpm.

How does the stock engine perform on buggy? After you get yours, please tell me. Kakaka...I hate dust...toooo dirty.... j/k .... Believe me! It is worth its price. You can't find any buggy engine that is fast than D21B and also UNDER "zoo" ......hush

Very interested in the engine but it sounds like an RPM engine...which is less desirable as a buggy engine. Can you mod for more torque? Has anyone tested the engine in a buggy yet?

NO! The stock D21B has a lot of torque. As I knew many LA racers have tested it. Call ProjectZen,they can tell you more details. Otherwise you can wait TWF8's review later.

After some testing....This engine should use 0.3mm shim with 25% nitro and normal pulg. If you want to use Turbo head button, add 0.1mm shim.
