I'm a bit worried
because I don't see a o-ring shutting off above where the carburator comes fixed.
won't it take air there ??
I installed a micro fine o-ring there just in case...

There is only one o-ring on the crankcase below the carburetor to seal up the air. It no need another o-ring if the sealing o-ring is in good condition.

If you use 16% nitro, you can use 0.3mm head shim. Want more punch use 0.2mm shim. If 0.2mm burn your plug(coils pushed),change back to 0.3mm.

Use long body normal plug #5. It has the widest usable range.
If you want to use Turbo head button, use #6 turbo plug.

Thank you,
Dino

Hi.
Just blew up a plug today.
What plug would you suggest for air temp 10 celsius, 25% nitro this is for break-in

i fired up a new 21 for a friend and the engine started backwards.
Restarted it and was OK but the needle settings are way off.

What are the factory settings and why did start backwards?

Most of the cases are happened when the starter run the wrong way. A backwards engine will flameout when you try to open the throttle.

The racing setting is around HSN 1.5~2 turns out. The LSN is aroung 3 turns. The fuel will deteriorate after 6 months.
