Default pinched too much or no .....????

hey all I have a os .21 vg that was told was repinched, I have never encountered a pinched engine. this thing is so tight even with the plug out its very hard to turn over buy hand.is there something wrong or is this normal? I had to buy a starter box as I didn't have one , I got a chrome top ofna box comming I hope the engine is ok it just seems sooo tight.any thoughts or info advice all very welcome .

Use a heat gun to warm it up first, you want to point the heat at the top part of the block, not the head.

If an engine is over pinched then it's going to do more harm than good.

the rod wont be able to handel the stress.

Get a fine lapping compound and lap the pistion into the sleeve, so it goes up until you can see half the wrist pin hole on the exhaust window.

Default Hand Lapping Piston Sleeve?

I keep stumbling across various mentions of hand lapping piston and sleeve to reduce run in time.

Has anyone actually tried this with any success?

I did a little quick research on hand lapping and came across info on 1/1 scale valve lapping that is apparently a stone age technique for service cyl head.

However concept seems interesting where you are hand fitting the two conical parts together..again sounds basically like what happens when you run in a nitro engine.

Anyone?

well this motor was way to tight. so a friend of mine used to pylon race rc planes he is going to try and hand lap it in. he bought a .28rr axial motor that kept breaking the pull rope he laped it in and its been running like a banshee since...!!!!....so I hope he can free this one up a little,I want it tight but not this tight.....lol....as for how he does it I have no clue.....
