It's a 1/10th 220mm xray mate. Quite a popular class in the uk

Again plenty of interest in the surestart up at Halifax on Sunday, hopefully have mine this week!

Thanks for the review Pip and for refreshing this thread

Here's another pic, this one of Neil Divers Shepherd with his Sure-Start fitted. The onroad drivers in the UK are now really starting to appreciate the Sure-Start with them now becoming common place at the race track both onroad and offroad circuits

Iíve also had a review done in a UK magazine of the Standard model, there will soon be a review of the Deluxe in the coming months which I will also post up here. The Model on review in this article is an early offroad model.

I found very interesting the pit caddy too.

When it will be placed? If the price will be competitive I'll definitely get one.

With winter approaching, those RC engines will be feeling a little cold... So for a limited time we've reduced the price of the red/black RC Sure-Start preheater.

Visit www.rcsurestart.com to order yours

Incredible great piece of equipment. My No1 in the list.

I always preheat my engines since i got the sure start, starting is much easier especially in breakin no more scuffing the flywheel and swearing for locking up, but couldn't meter how much of a good device since i had no new engines. Last year we got My Novarossi 12PT and from day one never switched on the engine with out preheating the Engine. This engine was like my 8th novarossi .12 so i know how durable these things are.

Now you may say that i run it rich etc... we use good quality fuel with 9% oil came 2nd in the national 2011/12 Championship so tune has to be to the engine limits and guess what started this year's Championship with the same engine!!!!

Stil bloody feel the pinch with out the plug after around 27 litres.

Amazing!!!!!

I also did replace conrods bearings etc... on the same rate we replaced them with out heater which did show that had more life in them especially the bearings.

Go get one now you will get back the money on your first new engine not mentioning that you can hit hard the gas as soon as car is on the asphalt

Let it RIP boys and welldone bro!

Well done on thinking outside the square and developing something unique. One question can you leave this on the engine on while running it in to keep an engine warm?
