Playing around with fuel...

I'm facing difficulty in finding nitro methane. So is it OK if I proceed break-in without it?

In that case, what ratio of methanol and castor oil should be used? Is there a way to calculate the optimum fuel ratio?

Also are there any alternate chemicals which could be used in the fuel mixture?

Forget about it buy fuel off the shelf.

Where are you?

In the states, Nitro can be found at any fuel supplier for drag racers, though it's often 90% or less.

But like the other guy said, just buy it ready to go from the local hobby shop.

I would not advise breaking in on no nitro. It might not get up to the same combustion temps and do more harm than good.

Nice little program and it's the one I use for blending my own fuel.
