I had an 3T engine and tuned it up to fast but noticed one thing. The rod was an R2 and could not handle the faster specs.

I do not know what the 5T is using but if it is an R2-R4 it is wise to change it quickly to a R7. And I know someone who is giving these engines the specs of a Flash and they do run very good.

Thaks guys.
Roelof the engine comes with R7 conrod.

The thing is were trying to start a SPEC 1/8 OnRoad class with a simple powerfull enogh and economic engine, and I thought this engine meets those qualities vs a Kanguroo.

We have the Shepherd Hobby Cup here in Germany and the mandatory engine for 1/8 is the N21-5T with the 2015 pipe/medium header.
If you participate in the Hobby Cup, the set is only € 199.

Great engine for the money and plenty fast.

Perfect motor for a spec class.

Yesterday we had a meeting at one of the clubs I am a member of.

We agreed that the national/international drivers will use this engine during clubraces and all other clubdrivers can choose their engine (some had made investments they may not use if we all need to drive this engine)
It is up to us better drivers to show that power isn't everything but we will ask other clubdrivers to get a 5T engine if they do reach that level becomming much faster than us.

Probebly we can get this engine for 100 euro.....
