Default Does anybody have experience with a Mugen MT 12?

I was looking at the Mugen MT 12 for my NTC3. Does anyone have experience with it? I am going to race it(duh) in a novice class. Also, how is the break-in? Extensive or not?

all of my engines including my mr-12 i run one tank at half throttle, let it cool then 2 more tanks at full throttel(very rich setting) ,then it is time to hit the track for tuning.

sounds like you want to get to the track in a hurry. i usually take a longer break in time, but your the expert. so it sounds "Amen OK" to me!

if you go to each manufactures web site they all tell you how to break engines in differently. but the biggest thing in breaking them in is that the motor has to get to atleast 200 degrees. If not the piston and sleeve are not going to wear in right. And you will wear them out faster. But the mt 12 is a great motor. not the fastest out but very reliable and will work great for novice.

if you are new to nitro all together i'd suggest the os12tr. good to above average power and the easiest to tune engine in it's class bar none....
