What's the best piPe for a max xxl3
 

Anyone know what the best pipe for a max .12 xxl3 is and is there anyone running this motor with some feedback on tuning and fuel I should run... Thanks....

i havent tried any of the new new pipes, but between the 2652 and 2630 and 2601, the 2601 is a good balance with a short manifold. the 2630 has more power , but struggle with run time with it. the 2652 is comparable with power with the 2601, but has the thirstyness of the 2630. but depends on gearing, track and tuning . the new pipes may be better than the 2652, but im not sure.

You don't have many options. You have to run a NTC3 specific pipe because it's a shaft drive. You can use the stock pipe and find a rear exhaust header.

Best exhaust right now is

Novarossi 2660 (or maybe 2652) pipe with the Novarossi 41615 or 41616 header

Novamax makes a pipe and header kit for this motor. 2602novamax part number. Designed for the xxl3 motors.

Guys this is going in a Nitro TC3.

get a dozen gears and diffs for the ntc3, youll need one for each race

i like novarossi 2601. It has the right balance on max xxl3.
