normally i install the engine and turn throttle epa to 50% and put it on the track and tune for 200F run 6-8 tanks open throttle to 100% and tune for max performance
that has worked very well in the past and i dont spend alot of time just standing there waiting for tanks to idle through
but today i installed a new x-12 in my r40 and since it was raining i couldnt run it in on the track
so i ran a tank and a half through it ocassionally giving it a decent amount of throttle to clear it out
it spewed smoke and oil everywhere and never ran above 190F
my plan is to do the rest on the track the method i usually use
hope i didnt do anyhting wrong by running that tank and a half through it today
break it in fast it'll be fast IMO
long slow cold idling tanks stretch rods IMO
