Default Best pipe for Picco Evo 4 3.5cc

Well I would like your opinion, I have tryed few combinations and there are 2 that I really like the 2033 with nova medium manifold and 2058, for me both are similar, give me more top speed.
Any other combination? what do you feel compare the original 2033 set?

I still drive the EVO3 Picco (based) engines, and in my opinion, they like the 2052 and 2015 with medium header #41016 even better then the 2033....
Just try it, and you will see.
With 2052, you get really the most power out of them, with 2015 also, but just a bit better fuel consumption....

Thats interesting M7, I found with the 2015 the engine didnt have as much bottom end, but had very very good top. So i now use the 2052 with long header and its very very nice.

Bottom end is also very depending on your clutch setting...
With the 2052, you indeed have more bottom, but with a good clutch, the bottom with the 2015 is also good.
The 2052 with long header gives maximum bottom, the shorter header gives more top end....

Yeah must admit i didnt play with the clutch too much with the 2015 pipe on, will have to try it once again.

i would not use the odonnell plugs if you want to keep the taper correct in the turbo button,
if you use them you will have to stay with them.
i use the associated Lrp turbos in my idm picco and i am very happy with them.

you tried the 2015 with long header and didnt have much bottom?

after reading this thread; am i correct to say that either 2052 or 2015 is better than the 2033?

If I am not mistaken then the Odonnell plugs are made to run in the OS. If they are the same taper as a OS then they are the same as the Picco. The only ones that share a different taper are Nova and some OPS. They are a wider taper. The threads are the same the turbo taper is what is wide or narrow by more or less degree's of angle.

Depends on what you are trying to do with the pipes. There is a pipe for most all tracks there will always be one that is slightly better one place and not another. So the answer would be a yes and no depending on where and what you are running and also your driving style.

I found the 2033 gives the most bottom of all the pipes but doesnt give enough top end, but it also delivers the best fuel economy.

2052 best overall pipe with the long header.

2015, for me with long header still didnt quite give enough bottom ( but this may have been clutch), but gave really good top end.

And O'donnell plugs definately work

Last time I checked, the O'Donell plugs were Nova applicable. they have standard plugs for OS but not turbo. You can get them to seal, but it is hit or miss. The threads extend to far downward and make a good seal unlikely. Have had good results from Dynamite, OS, and Merlin plugs.
