I'm getting these temps after about 10mins of running #6 plug 25% fuel. When I used to run the XP, I likewise found that it liked running hotter (250 to 270 range). They work in optimum when hot. I saw them with others and use them myself running at those temps and stayed there on main events. By the way, we used to run them with Blue Thunder Race Formula 40% Fuel and with a #8 cold plug. Am not sure if you would like to try that. Head clearance was 22000. Those Picco Conical Headers and Pipe work great and they compliment the XP motor's performance a lot. Good luck! |
Ditto. 30% byrons, Rb#6 plug.
