All parts except the crank are identical to the Novarossi Plus12-3

I BEG To DIFFER,RB'S HAVE to be setup properlly to pull all that damm horsepower from them, i ran a older c5 rody last year against all the novarossis,35plus,359..etc,,,i saw no reason to even buy the more current 6 rody..rb has NEVER been a slouch, and for that matter, by the looks of others ;ater into this thread. dont even have clue on how to tune thenm and they DO TUNE differentlly than a nova'

Not sure what he means by that. Maybe that there will be no more 'official' JP Tuned Novas (considering that there is now a Murnan nova). The engines are definately Nova-based though: all nova parts fit, the part numbers are the same and you know what, some of the parts even have 'novarossi' printed on them!

Looks like Mugen is no longer carrying the Jp line of engines.

Does anyone know if their is a US importer?

Thanks
Jamie

There is a shortage on JP engines, maybe the JP brand soon will be based on another brand like Picco, Sirio or GRP ?

Since you are professional critic, why don’t you join JP as a consultant?

Hey, it is very common that such manufacturers switch from supplier.
- IDM did switch long time ago from NR to Picco
- Serpent did switch on the same time from NR to Picco
- Siim did switch from Sirio to NR
- Ninja did switch from GRP to OS

So why should JP do not switch to another supplier ?
NR is for sure not the cheapest manufacturer and the quality and performance of the others with the lower prices does make such a step very interesting.

Because that stuff actually happened, Your spreading hearsay. I highly doubt JP switches his whole engine lineup. If he did i hope he goes with Picco or OS.
