The SIRIO gives more midrange power, and gets better runtime than the nova 2015. The SIRIO comes with it's own short very conical header.

what do you think of the 2052 i think, the "fat baseball pipe" novarossi? will that be any good with the eagle9? im looking to get at least 5 min runtime...what restrictor do you recommend as well? i have the RX8, so i have to run that stock clutch for now, thinking sheperd spring would be the way

I like the 2015 with the 41016 (med) header for the Eagle. Use the 8mm restrictor to start. If you have fuel left over try the 8.5mm. I would also recommend the Nova C8TGH plug for best mileage.

Default Need Solid Advice Here

i have a 1 gallon NEW eagle 9, where bottom line piston might not be savagable, i have the best in the buisness looking at it this coming week, question is, since its just the piston, can i get a p/s/r/ set from say a toro nero, or cheaper , and just use the r7 rod and piston and re break new piston into my gallon NEW sleeve, looking for cheapest alternative as this motor is getting to be VERY expensive, i just would love more than a gallon from a 800.00 motor, and i saw novarossi offroad p/s/r/ sets are WAY cheaper, so if im only usuing the piston and r7 rod from the sets, and chucking the sleeves obviouslly would it work? or taking the piston and rod, and sending w gallon old sleeve to be re-sized togther fora new break in? thanks....OR if anyone has just a piston that wants to sell please pm me... desperate here, motor was insane fast, all i tried to do was change rod/wristpin, even sent to a engine modder , and he couldnt get it in properlly as well...any suggestions are welcomed, thanks

tommy

The R03 is a 7 port engine based on a 14mm crankshaft, it is basicly a Kangaroo with JP his own specs.

There are 2 versions, the 1st productions had a CNC piston which did not have a long live but for a long time after that it did come with the microcasted piston, you can hear the difference in piston when turning the engine arround on the flywheel. The microcasted piston makes a more cracking sound you should have heard with the R09 as well.

No the 35plus uses a smaller front bearing. Here are the part#s for the Eagle:

front 17003
rear 16002 or 16001 if you want to save $$
