Polishing compound...hmmm..please explain further.

Is it just a general compound of something specific for engine parts?

Hey guys, for an FX21, what is considered decent pinch?

Mine accidently had the filter come off but unsure how much is ran. I want to say it wore it out a good amount, but want to confirm with you folks.

Thanks

Take the motor apart, clean it up,lube and rebuild. with the flywheel mounted, plug installed, and backplate on, turn the crank by hand. You should get a good amount of resistance turning a full revolution. If you hear that "puk" sound, chances are its still good to go.

Don’t confuse compression with pinch; Sleeve Pinch is not that important contrary to popular belief. The question is how well it seals as soon as the piston starts to close the exhaust port and if it holds compression after you roll it to top dead center.
Place a few drops of after run oil trough the top (removing plug), then place plug in place, then roll piston to top dead center and listen and look for air bubbles through exhaust port. If there’s none, then your engine still has compression, even if it has no pinch.

I am interested in one and want to order a few glow plugs with it. I know that i want turbo cold plugs but don't know which type (long short).

It will be used with 16% nitro.

We usually use Novarossi ULTRA Gold plugs #6

Part# 68865 TURBO GLOWPLUG / GOLD #6 HOT
Part# 68866 TURBO GLOWPLUG / GOLD #6 COLD

Usually, we use the cold version.

It will fit, but will not seal properly and will not tune properly.

I really like the GRP 6 plugs on mine. Quality of the grp plugs is simply the best, and the engine has a slighter higher top speed with it.
