Header and Gasket doesn't fit?

I have a JP Mod RS12 engine and a RBx12 one piece tuned pipe. I bought some RD Logics .12 header gaskets today since my last one ripped. When I went to install the header onto the engine (gasket already installed on engine), it wouldn't fit! The gasket kept "scrunching" up whenever I push it in!

So I tried the other way. This time I put the gasket in the header first then tried to install it on the engine. Same thing. The gasket scrunches up on the little notch/gap on the exhaust port.

I already ripped a gasket trying to put it in. I tried spraying a tiny bit of WD40 onto the gasket hoping it'd be easier, but it wasn't. These gaskets aren't cheap either! 5.99 for 2!

Anyone know why these don't fit?:flaming:

I hate RDL gaskets. They don't last for $hit. They rip very easily. I've had the same prob. You just gotta lube it a little and work it on while twisting or "screwing" the header on.
