The engine was probably in any of OFNA's trash buggies, maybe the MBX Comp.

And as far as I'm concerned, that is a tuned pipe - again, poor quality, most likely.

It is an ofna Force .28. The pipe on it sucks.. Pick up a JP3 and it will wake it up a bunch.. Beware run times will not be very good with this motor.. 7 minutes will be pushing the limit.

No it should not overheat. It would be 7 minutes because you would run out of gas. Then you just put more fuel in and keep going. It could be more or less, I don't know much about that motor. But what he means by 7 minutes is just how long it will last on a tank of fuel.

It is out of fuel, is what I meant.. I ran one with the JP3 for a while.. Good engine with good power, but the run time could be better.

this motor has a known problem with the front bearing leaking I've had a few of these and they start leaking at the same exact spot. In my personal opinion no point in investing any money on this gas guzzling 7min rtr pos excuse for a motor. Just run it until it starts leaking then buy yourself a nice nova or better yet get a picco jl from neal and you'll be set for 10+ gallons!

the same engine except it has a red cooling head instead of gray/black head. but that engine needs a better pipe, pipes are expensive but worth the money. also look at the Dynamite 053 pipe a little cheaper and its still tough. check out ebay for these pipes, i got an almost new JP3 for 25 bucks shipped.

AFAIK the Force .28 doesn't have a midrange (B) needle.

I ran one my first season....good for me then, but yeah, the front bearing spews in short order...

Dynamite 053 was a good pipe for this....

Funny thing...this was YEARS ago and this very same motor is still in service at our track...it's been handed down God knows how many times...I wonder if anyone ever replaced that front bearing...LOL

Still holds a tune...from what I've seen....I can't imagine there's a lot left internally. Longevity would not seem to be an issue...front bearing notwithstanding...
