PICCO & MEGA PARTS
 

I have a Picco P9R EVO2 and want to get a new piston/sleeve and was told the Mega ZX21 DS2 has the same internals.
When asking at the hobby shop they said you will need to know witch one the part he list is part #Meg 202174.
Does anyone have experience with this or knowledge of this part.
Is there some piece of information that I have not seen or heard that would help so I get the right part.
I know I could just order a Picco piston/sleeve from Nitrohouse however I can save some cash with the mega part and it would be good just to know.
This motor will become a back-up so you get the point.

You may want to give Dave at OFNA a call, may have some of that stuff

OFNA does not sell direct to consumers.

As far as I know. There are no EVO2 parts (ABC) anymore. You could also install an EVO3 or 4 (or DX3/4) ABC with a shim under the liner.

The only place I find parts for the Mega engine is at Ashford hobbies and he list the part as I show below.
He is not very willing to give much help as I have emailed him with no responce. :confused:
On his site he list it as (ABC-Set ZX21 w/insert DSII) he also list a rod (Connecting Rod ZX21 DSII+).
I have a rod already I just want the rest.
The pics I see of the DSII Race are the same sleeve as my motor I am just not sure if the DSII is the same as the RACE or + version.
I have checked the rod I have it has a 4mm small end so from other post I have seen it is the newer version.
