RB 430 vs Novamega SS3P

Hi guys,

Purchasing a new engine for my 705 (currently I have the Novamega SX12RE) but wanted a little more power. I think I have boiled it down to the RB430 or 510. I think the 430 will be enough power for me so that's what im going to primarily focus on. How does this compare to the Novamega SS 3P?

Thanks!
John

i can't answer that question but i can tell you that both of them are great motors..

Bet I can't go wrong....so looks like I'll save up for the 430. :) I was going to go with the Rody Tuned version, but that is a bit out of my price range.

I have the 430 in my MTX-3. This engine is ballistic. Pulls all the way down the straight and had no problem getting the hole-shot. It had so much low-end that I barely used any throttle through the infield or it would overshoot the next turn.

I also have the 5 port turbo Rody, but have not went to a big enough track to run it yet.
