Becareful on nitro content in relate to head shim clearance! If I am not mistaken, stock nova base engine comes with 0.03mm head shim, and if you are planning to run 30% I would suggest to run total of 0.05mm head shim. (for 12 size engine)
I've always use 20% on my .12 engines but I heard that 30% is ok if it's oil content is good. I use Odonnel. But I want to try Maxy's out. All my .12 engines this year are new and someone told me if I start using 30% I have to stay 30%. Is this true?? Also someone told me to try to use the same fuel for consistency???

i run .03mm plus .01mm shim ,and the motor that i have is also modify and tuned at the track for me by Maxy Velazco(owner) and the motor runs strong he also told me that i can run 40% nitro on that motor with out any problem. Maxy is a proffesional when it comes to engine tuning and fuel just ask Paul Wynn (TEAM SCHUMACHER) he runs both Maxy's engine and fuel.
