MAX POWER

anyone have an opinon on the max power max5 12s. i got one a few weeks ago and won't be able to test it untill the end of april...when we start racing again here in new joysie. its the tuned version by massimo fantini.

One thing is that its not legal to run in the sedan class being that its a 5 port and sedans run 3 port engines. But being its a Max it will boogie:nod:

i sent you a PM jas1...i can't use it here!

It just really depends on race rules under which you are racing and what classes are run. For our club, it's 3 port for sedan and 3 or 5 port for open fuel.

all the places.. i race are under roar...rules. im pretty sure i can't use it. and don't think it would make run time. im bumed......

If it needs to be a 3 port then cut out the bridges between the side ports. In the past with the 235mm cars it is often done

Post it up for sale, or talk to your race director about running without points. Almost all 200mm touring car classes specify a 3 port engine. Don't bother modifying it imo. Its an easy way to have a $400 paperweight if you don't know what your doing.
