You can messure it up with a degree wheel and a piston stopper





The degree wheel is a tip from Stefan and I had one here.





Using a LED flashlight there is a clear sight on the cranktiming



Crank open:



Crank almost closed:

Guys i placed a Replica Murnan Crank in my N21-7T - i must say it was FAST, down low and Top speed.

But its a Thirsty girl, but this i can accept for the power

this is the replica Murnan crank a friend lent to me to test in this Basic Competiton engine - I must say the bottom end of this engine was [email protected]#

Just amazed on the guess work he did and we timed the engine at another mates house and it was pretty spot on with the opennings and clossings!

Yes, I have re-organised my site a while ago. The Dutch page about the tooling:

I also made a small english manual how to setup and measure:

With the 5T I have the best results with
Open @ 27 degrees after BDC
close @ 67 degrees after TDC
Intake @ 67 degrees from BDC
exhaust @ 93 degrees from BDC

Running the Novarossi onroad medium header and the Picco 2033 pipe.
