Where are RB Concept made in?
 

Hi are RB's still made in novarossi factories? Are the engines same in every market or will they vary from market to market?

Most RB motors are still Novarossi based but there are some exceptions like the Speedline motors made by Star (Sirio) and some new offroad motors made in Taiwan.

Where is the Classico 9 coming from??

Not sure what the "classico" is but the new Circuit 9 engine is based on the Nova 35 plus.

Ya, the classico looks decent...but Im just worried about the longevity of it, as it is prolly one of their new Taiwan based motors.

I have 2 of the Classico 9 21 engines, these are 7 port, flat top piston, Nova based engines about the same thing as the 1999 vintage Nova Mega EVO-3
engines. The Classico 9 was designed for the European 1/8 scale 2WD Pan Car class. I have run mine in my MRX4-X 4WD car in practice. They are a medium power engine at best, but a good newbie engine to 1/8 scale 4WD.

If you open the manual of the Clasico and put some partnumbers into google you will see the P/S set is a C3 or C4 set, that was a Novarossi based.

The Killer seems to be a Go or Alpha production.

I've run RB's off-road mills since '97. So naturally I've been skeptical of the Killer 9, because of the origin of it's manufacturing. However, because of it's affordability, I purchased one a few weeks ago, and OOOHHHHH MANNNNNN! I have a new best friend.

Here's my report from last weekend's race.

Well my K9 survived it's first race, on a cool autumn humid day. I
arrived at the track with only 7-8 tanks through the motor, so I knew
I would still not likely have max power before the end of the day. My
plan was to putt around smoothly and stay out of everyones way at Valley Field's huge off-road layout.

Well that strategy actually worked beyond expectation. After a rain
delay, I tq'd both rounds 1 and 2. I led the A-main from start to
finish, and afterwards, everyone asked me how I maintained a race pace
while leaving a thick blue trail throughout the full length of the
straightaway for the entire race. Both the original RB5T plug and the
piston top look brand new still. And there's no play on the conrod.
I'm definitely ordering another for next season. I'm using an 053
pipe and carbon shoes with 1.0 springs. Thanks RB!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out that this is a complete RB design, and "some" of the parts are produced at Nova Rossi.

I run the classico at my club races on 40% nitro and it runs perfect and makes 5 minutes.

Will the Ciruit 9 accept the Novarossi R7 (part # 7009) conrod?
How about glow plugs? Are RB plugs Novarossi (with the known issues) or something independent?

RB plugs are Nova but they seem to be a bit different. They seem a bit colder than a Nova plug of the same number. The last batch of RB plugs I had worked great (unlike the Nova's of the same vintage) but that's been over a year ago. I don't know if the current ones are still good or not since I'm running mostly Sirio plugs now.

There are some V12 Rody Turbo on ebay selling quite cheap. Part Number #1700-000515

The seller claims these are made in USA, Can anyone tell me where these should be made in and what serial number they should have?
