How do you like your JP? How is it powerwise compared to a NS12S3 or a RB V12 3 port? Thanks.

i have a very old S5 JP and was wondering how much more power can i draw from it to compete with the nova max or the new NS JP 5P...

What else can i do to get more power!!! i'm already running very lean and i'm still not able to get the power ... of the novamax ...

i have re-condition the PS and new conrod... anything else to bring the most out of this engine before i replace it with a novamax ?

In QLD Jeff or Kerryn Knibb are the JP dealers at Scale Racing Supplies you can contact them on 0438-300-216 or [email protected]

OS many of the HK shops will be able to help you.

Cheers Alastair

With new conrod installed, check the play between it and the crankshaft(big end). If there is still about 20-30 deg. reduce your head shim (2mm is the minimum).

The 20-30 deg play will make your new piston can not reach maximum Top Dead Center, thus lowering your compression ratio.

The JP NS12 TS3 cost 350,- Euro's in Holland wich comes to about $440,- (if 'm correct).

Default JP engines.

Because of all this price increasig I decided to build my own engine (Palmaris PS12). Two prototypes were already tested on Winternats in Ft Myers. We didn't get realy good place there, but it was related to cars and driving but not to engines.
within 2 month I will be able to bring it to market at very reasonble price.

BTW, P/ S sets are availible in three cofiguration-BRB, AAC and ABC. My personal favorite is BRB. Stefan one of the user of that product so you can check with him performance.

Does "BRB" have anything to do with Beryllium? If so, I use it all the time in race engines on valve seats.
