RB Killer 9 presentation

Hello from France,

here's the presentation of the new RB K9 engine.

Made in Asia for a good price, it seems very well designed!!!

Can you tell which factory?

I see a minor detail that I don't like. It's missing the little lugs on the crankcase for manifold springs. Minor I know but hey, we all have our quirks :D

wow, awsome for the price

rageworks 09-04-2009 12:21 PM

Does anyone have pics of this motor apart?
I would like to see what the crank, cyl. sleeve,
piston and rod look like.

wingracer 09-04-2009 12:38 PM

Click on the link he posted. 2nd and 3rd pages have some nice pics.

rageworks 09-04-2009 01:41 PM

All I get when I click on the link is the
sites header with a blank page below it.
No pics, No pages, DAMN!!!!!.................

Well that sux, works for me. Some real good close up internal shots on there. Maybe we can get him to post some of them in here. I tried but they are some sort of flash format that I couldn't figure out how to save.

rageworks 09-04-2009 02:24 PM

I tried going directly to the site and still
nothing. It looks like the site is some kind
of flashplayer format.

So how does this motor perform? I'm in the market for a new engine and plan to pull the trigger on one this weekend. How's the bottom end power? What pipe works well with it? I have a Dynamite 053, would that be a good fit? What about run times? I'm having a hard time finding answers to these questions.

wingracer 09-06-2009 05:04 AM

Probably because very few people have run it yet. I did see a guy complaining that he was having trouble keeping it running but he might be a noob, I don't know. The 053 will probably work great.

Davidka 09-06-2009 08:59 PM

+1, if you want answers ti those questions your options are buy one and run it or wait 3-6 mos. My guess is that if this is made under contract in Asia, you're not going to get some of the things that make RB's popular, most notably long wear life.
