engine repair
dun mix up compression n pinch!:confused:thanks for the help but could u clear up the last part:) can this be fixed buy putting a new crank&piston r just the piston set?
|
you wont need a new crank just get a new piston and liner
|
Why not send your cylinder sleeve to Rays for
a pinch. Include the piston with the rod still attached when you send it in for repair. The process doesn't cost much and will restore the compression for many more gallons of run time. |
if less pinch, then get the sleeve pinched. definitely extends life, and its cost effective. but its still 50-50 chance of getting it like new, sometimes one can get unstable running temperature. just my 2 cents :)
