Default NOVAROSSI 353 RACE 09 OR 3SCT??

I am just trying to decide on another engine I have a nova 3sct tune already and they are fast but the new 09 353 race is also on the cards , I race on small fairly tight tracks should I stick with the 3sct?
cheers

u can try 353 on a small track.its fast too. imho its not worth it, need to change to a longer pipe, need to change higher ratios and increase clutch spring tension. the worse part, it need overall new chassis setup.

Is your new engine going to be for Our National Champ in OCT?

If you guys are still running at the skating rink i would go with the SCT. It is a little stronger on the bottom on your tighter infield.

just my 2 cents on this....I have both those engines and found the the Max RR3 was a better choice. Running a small tight track, putting the power down from 3sct and the 353 was harder with the power curve they have. The RR3 seems to have a smoother power curve, and with running a lower gear on the NT1, 15/59-20/54 and a 2602 pipe, made it almost impossible to catch.

***ran on a parking lot track at Supperior Hobbies***
track size is "about" 60ftx120ft (20x40 meters)
car setup is posted at http://forum.teamxray.com/xform/inde...1162&setup=nt1

thanks for the responses guys but I went the 353 and ran it last night, theres not much difference between the 3sct and 353 there is plenty of punch, and I did notice a cooler temp on the 353?? thats running on a 260 4 fin header.
cheers
