You can get one of the engines direct from Ed (topgun777) as I dont believe we have a South American dealer/stockist yet.

Ed,

Are you already making carburetors for your engines?

Default BRB race report

We raced the BRB p/s set over the weekend against outlaw small block 15 engines on Serpent Cup here in HK
And we had the Best lap time of the day ( on a fairly big track, 250' straight)!
The only Touring car made under 16sec/lap!!!

We started from 3rd A main and just before our last pitstop, we was 1st. Unfortunately, at the last re-fuel, our mechanics decided the car need a Fuel bath!!!!! non servos work after. lucky we did not put the car back on the ground.. otherwise...

better luck next time but this prove BRB is as fast, if not faster, than outlaw small block 15 modded motor.

Congratulation with great result. 12 legal was running faster then small block 15 MAX and JPs?
Chris, I do belive this is last revised version of 3 port legal 12 size set?
What temp did you run it?
What was head shimming?
What crancase was that? ( MAX, NS or JP)
What carb-5.4 or 6.5 mm?
Edward

Hi Edward,

I manage to get second place, but could not get FTD. It wasn`t the engine, car or driver....the other driver was Mark Green whom is British 1/8th number one driver !!!

Just to let you know that yours BRB p/s set is excellent..best investment so far...it can kick the like of JP, Max and sirio...The engine got so much torque, i can even pull along side a eighth!!!!
I was using a Nova Rossi 5mm legal pipe, but is going to put in an outlaw pipe soon.

Already ran a gallon through the engine, and it still get struck TD !!!The engine is very difficult to crank over without the use of a heat gun. My JP FX 01 have less than a gallon, there is a tight pinch at TD, but still able to start as normal without the use of a heat gun (blow torch in my case !!)

oh, back to my question, is the BRB set ready for the 21 yet.? Not sure what engine it is going in yet, an RB or a Nova Rossi. I would like to try a set as well..

Thank you very much

We were running at the same pace as the 15 MAX and JP FX, same speed at the straight, and have little more torque in-field than anyone else.( time sheet don't lie ) There were about 40 tourers with 70% to 80% of them used small block 15 MAX or 15 Nova , cause no engine rules

I have not tried the revised version yet. One of mine friend will try that on a V 1 RRR next week. We will be racing on the same track so I will let you know the lap time.

Did not measure Temp
Head was 0.3mm using 25% fuel ( organiser give out free fuel
very nice!!!)

Straight fit to a 12 MAX crankcase.

Tried 5.4 mm was little lack of top but were testing to get 6min 20 sec per tank to get one less refuel. End up using 6mm, refuel every 5 mins.
