Had a great day with the engine.

She was a bit tight in the morning, but loosened up later in the day and now she's making some serious horsepower.

Very smooth to drive, excellent linear acceleration and after some gearing/pipe changes the topend is also very good.

I just found my setup towards the end of the day, so tommorrow we'll see what we can do.

Oh, and btw, I'm getting almost 6 minutes on a tank.

On a different note, Josh Cyrul slaughtered his 8th scale today by catching a spike at full speed down the straight. His steering servo is cut in half and all the electronics are hanging out.

The complete right side of the car is gone, even the first gear pinion is broken. Ugly sight.

I got around 8 mins with it at Revelation. I'm sure they were just playing with tuning, I know the engine can go longer on a tank from first hand experience.

Am I mistaken or is Edward's integrated sleeve and case design already being copied? Take a look at the pictures of the Black Hawk engine displayed on Nurenberg Toy Fair:

BTW, I really like your engine, Edward. It is the most revolutionary design I have ever seen in nitro RC! I hope I can get one when it is released! (I live in Brazil, which makes things a little more difficult...)

I doubt they are the only company that are trying to copy Edward's design.
