Hi Ed,

Was having big problem with my email account. Sorted it at last !!

Done a spot of testing today. Was using a BRCA legal pipe, your BRB set (3rd gen ), standard BRCA crank, nova rossi carb with a 5.5mm restrictor and a rody tunned crankcase but not the bodyshell. Gear ratio 17/47 and 22/42 The car was tearing up the track !! This kept up with a couple of eighths drivers as well. Funny things is that the engine want to pull more, but ran out of track !!! Top end is amazing, but got to change the 1st 16/46 to get more torque out of corner. Diff oil will be 50000 instead of 30K as it is differing out in corner !!

Oh, by the way this is with 16% and not 25% nitro fuel !!!

Slap on a protoform mazda 6 bodyshell and look forward to the national next weekend....

Do you have the plastic or the metal restrictor? I have a plastic one, a 5.4mm version and when I measured it, I found it was actually 5.1 or 5.2mm You might like to check yours, too.

Cheers, Mark.

Hi Speedy.
I can't really give time frame for 21 Bi-metall, but I can assume it will be sometimes on end of year.

thxs,
Hi Speedy. Thanks a lot for good words.
I can't give you comperacing in 21 size motors, we didn't make any of those yet, but in 12 size it is difference. We finish testing by now and both prototype sets went through 4-5 gallons of fuel, both of them were overheated to 360 F and both of them in service in perfect shape. I hope I can make them enough to supply everyone who want to try and run, but unfortunately production technology is bit longer and much complecated to compare to conventional mono-metal type. We are working intencivly now to make production process faster, but it might take couple of months before we will be able to produce 200-300 set in regular time frame. Ones process will be define, we will start developing 21 size sets right away.
Edward
