Engine Screws

Where in the US can I get 3.5mm X 16mm Socket Head Cap Screws for the head of an R/B/Nova Rossi/JP Engine?

Most hardware stores should be able to get you them cheap enough. Other than that try Trinity (not my personal choice though:D )

The screw tread size of the Nova based engines is 3mm, not 3.5. I replace all my screws on my motors with allen head ones, easier to remove. Also, in case you want to repalce the ones for the backplate, those are 2.5mm.

Thanks,

My metric screw checker had them at 3.5mm with a .6 pitch. Engine is an RB Concept C5. Nova Rossi based.

Jeff is talking about 3.5 cc engine but not 2.1cc engine.

all NR based 3.5cc engine has 3.5mm screw for headsink.

by the way, the 2.1cc engine backplate screws are 2.6mm instead.

Amazingly, when placing an order With Ashford Hobbyh, I found that RB has a replacement screw kit as an RB part number. Includes 9 screws, four for the head, four for the backplate and one for the carburetor cross bolt. Go figure!
