fuel questions...
 
anyone try before using gasoline in their nitro engine? whats is the outcome? and is there any different between the nitro airplane fuel and nitro car fuel? Thanks!

airplane fuel is made to run with less oxygen and has more oil, you only want to run surface nitro fuel for your car.

gasoline doesnt have the proper lubricants to keep a nitro engine running, thats one issue

i dont think it'll burn easily even during idle :) stick with the manufactures recommendation.

Gasoline has too low an octane rating so detonation would be a huge problem. It would make less power. Also, it would probably destroy all the seals in the engine. Seals for gas and alcohol are made from different materials.

i did some research on nitro engines using gasoline few years back. need to mod something and add some electrical timing jargon and maybe some fuel regulator to make it happen.
