I will be running at Steel City. The regular mito not mito C is an ok motor? I know some folks were not a fan of the offset carb.

FYI...the off set carbie novas dont fit the shepherd chassis.

Nova 16001 bearing

Is there any aftermarket company that makes the same size as Nova 16001 bearing?

RMB 70 in china, good cheap deal, no need to buy genuine

Hi, I'm a little unsure how my engine is running. Is it to lean? Dust?
The engines was smoking a lot in the finale. But I´m unsure.

judging by the piston you're a bit rich, or the fuel has a lot of oil

Bundy_Bear 10-28-2018 10:48 PM

The blackness (carbon build-up) on top of the piston is from castor oil in the fuel. I would like to see the button myself, is the top of the piston pitted at all? If it is pitted it is from being too lean.

guys stop hitting the quote to reply just reply we know what you are talking about we don't need to scroll through 20 pics each time!! lol

its a bit rich not a big deal, if you are racing I would say lean it out. a lean motor to a degree does not pit a motor over heating does you can be lean as long as your within the right temps, I would not be going over 250 degrees with this motor..

Bundy_Bear - Sorry i dont have any more pictures. Rebuild the engine again.

nitrodude - Can it be from after run oil?

Thank you for your support!
