Maybe think about gearing the car up?.... My STS D5 is not reving as hard as the other motors im passing

I am using the 0.3 shim - 15% nitro.

You took out two shims from your engine? one brass(0.2mm) and one aluminum(0.3mm)?

when the compression is too big...
1) glow plug filament was pushed then broken.(those )
2) Engine singing due to the igniting timing too early.

what pipe are you using?

took out alu shim(0.3mm)left brass in.pipe kyosho 7mm stinger

how many shims do I have to put in my dragon d3? I use 16% glow fuel

the stock shims are for 30% nitro. if you run 16% you need to take out the cooper shim which is 0.2mm the aluminium shim is 0.3mm.

I'm living in downtown Brunei.Hj Irman is my best buddy.He just won the Borneo Cup in East Malaysia driving his STS Dragon 5R powered MTX3 . Do you know him??

Yup,he's no1 racer here and a great guy.Must be something with STS combination?? One more dino.Can D5R piston/sleeve be used in Novarossi engine?I'll be breaking in my D5R this weekend.I'll let you know how it goes.
