HELP

I have a STS RS3 for free from a buddy. He couldn't get it to run right. He was using Blue thunder 30% (not race formula). The engine feels like it has good compression. I don't have any nitro engine tuning experence, but from what I read it could be that the engine was not shimed correctly. Am i on the right track and where can i get the shims and what should the spacing be. I plan to run trinity 30% platnum fuel. Thanks for the help.

Default 21 on road engine

Dino, does STS plan on having on road .21 engine for 1/8 scale? After reading your post at D21 thread, you mention that you use the engine in your Serpent 950R and got 4th positon at final. I was wondering if I were to buy this D21B engine can you share me what modification have you done to it? I want to put it in my Evolva as well. Lastly is it Turbo or non turbo engine?

Thanks!

Yes, STS will launch .21 on-road version later. I would not suggest you to modify D21B for on-road using. Because you have to modify all timing and rebalance the crankshaft;modify the carburetor needles....etc. Too many modification will confuse you and it is not real economy. Just buy an good engine and maybe your next engine will be STS D21R.

When you go just call my cell phone number. I will pm you my cell phone #.

Good car tuners? There are a lot of good racers in Taiwan, you don't know? That OFNA Jeffrey Lin is also Taiwanese(4th @ Gas Sedan Nats). They know what they're doing but maybe just don't wanna let you know. Some top racers always like that. They afraid to let others know what they're doing. You can ask AKO or March or other A-main racers.

Regarding modified engine...you can buy a D5R from AKO and ask him to forward this engine to me. I will modify it for you free. You want D5RR or D5RRR?

Yes I will buy one of your engines when my Max blows up one day..haha But seriously I am waiting for you to tune my engine, its running pretty bad. Last time you tuned Jeffrey's engine you should see the smile on his face, can I smile too? About the car tuners I meant real cars not rc car
