Brcause every fuel have different characteristic....so...
start trying with 0.3mm shim and your 20%nitro. Use OS#6 pulg first. If the engine is unwilling back to idle when you close throttle, then put on 0.1mm shim.

just take out 0.1mm shim and try again...

i think this represent you don't want to replace my d5. fine, i am going to the bbb with this.

but dino, i am using 30% fuel, 0.3mm shim is going to be ok ? what is the recommanded nitro % fuel for the d5 anyways ?

so, your saying that the D3 parts will work with the RS3 block? including bearings and crank? sorry for all the nerd questions. just trying to find out the history on the RS3 engine. when was the last RS3's made? 'year" also is the RS3 a short track or big track engine? engine is being used in a NTC3 on a big track. hope this helps.

What rule does the D3 fail the ROAR rules?
The D3 EFRA legal or D3 IFMAR legal would comply wouldn't they? (sorry I dont know)

(See 6-31: Engine dimensions/requirements for ROAR legal engines - looks ok to me)

On their site they mentioned it was for Outlaw class etc....so I questioned their ROAR compliance. I was just wondering if anyone new for sure.
