one little question, will I need to change the con-rod now? coz I was playing cheat by not changing it after break-in and let 'er rip on today's race, hehehe....

Maybe you can email the rc-mushroom team for a bit of a discount on multiple engines? They also have D3/D5 spares here

Unless someone knows a better place?

Hi my old friend,

Of course I remember you. How are you and..... our racing girl? Dose she still race now?

Of sourse we will make a Competition .21 On-road race engine later. I'm testing it now. But the perform is not that good so I rather to keep them in the warehouse. Still need more time to develop and test again and again.

Regards,
Dino

I still would suggest you to change a new conrod after break-in process. More less play means more lasting. The play between conrod and pin should not bigger than 0.05mm.

Dino,
Everytime Kesley hits the track, she gets better with each run!!
Makes a few grown men a little embarrased when she puts them a lap down...or 2!! HAHA
Look forward to the new engine, thanks for all the hardwork. Looks like your .12 is doing very well, congrats!
Take care,
Smitty

Hey guys,

a buddy of mine has an almost brand new D5 on Ebay.

If you are looking for an engine in excellent shape for a good price, check it out.

Dear All,

I will fly to Thailand today for attending FEMCA Championship in Bangkok from 03~10 May. During this period I'm not sure I have time to come here. So all messages will be delayed to reply. I wish your understanding.

Regards,

Dino

I've seen the STS motors and they are very impressive. It would be tough to beat the new NS series in all out speed with that new crank. But you'd come close. I say go for it. For the performance, you absolutely can not beat the price. (or is it the other way around?) Oh well.
