Ah, its ok TG. The SMG is that engine that runs better backwards

Only problem with reverse is it is so slow it runs all day and should have no probs running a full 30min final on one tank

had a bottle of that before. I'm quite partial to the odd Black Smirnoff. But nothing compared to the pure vodka. Our stuff is watered down to 97% proof.

Default Is it time yet?

Ok Dino,
The Dinoguy is Running strong very consistant and Very Quick.
Ran 4 more tanks through today thats about 8 now on top of the 7 you ran.Still tight at TDC can't turn flywheel through a cycle by hand from underside of chasis. Do I go for full potential then change the rod or run a few more through at 75-80% or change the rod now and start working towards Full? Doing it by your book

You need to take the glowplug out to do the "is it run in yet" check.. you may find it feels alot closer to finished the run in process with out the compression hindering the "feel" of the piston at TDC.

Dont change the rod until you are finished the run in process... or you are wasting a good rod.

Changed the plug today but it was because i was running too rich still instead of the plug getting resistant or cold found that out later after checking my settings.I'm running A Hot 5 NR plug. When I ask the plug the engine condition what should it be saying to 'Know' when its time to change the Conrod? What should I be observing as signs of a Completed run in? I Guess That would be a great topic for all novice looking to advance to a solid intermediate nitro standing.I have a good ear for carb settings now but still lower on the scale on race quality motors. My RB's were easy and very forgiving but seem to missing that 'Bling Bling' acelleration that this motor has. This is Dinoguy(mod) so I'm gonna go with what he says but Thank you sparksy for the words. I just don't want to run the rod too long and blow the bottom end. It Had a very Good workout today Lotsa long straights and sweepers and holeshots. The entire powerband was used and was met with performance.
