Thatís sweet AI! Looks fairly hopped up to.

Nice photograph also.

Oh yeah I dusted off all my STS motors a few days ago to give them a quick run, they hate the cold weather. Actually forgot how fast my D12X motor was, damn I cant wait till the on-road season starts up again!!

Yeah my ST12R off-road motor gets stuck from time to time. But I think I just finally got it really broken in. Im amazed at the power this motor even makes. Makes my adam drake do wheelies with no effort.

Also what do you mean loose its high compression? Do you mean its turning easier now , is power still same?

Is there anyone still running the D12x? Have any other reports on this engine? Very little reading materials in the states on this engine. I would just like some testimonials that this engine does as well as the RB's, Nova's, OS, and Max Powers. Thanks.

Default engine issues

I bought me a new D21T, so far a big surprise as far as power but having a few issues at the moment, the crew at Racernine I beleve has solved my issues, but was going to run it past a few more just to see. Right now the engine is 3/4 thru a Gallon of fuel and still is being broke in. I took it racing this weekend to get its juces flowing after doing the break in method. Anyway while running on the track around 4 min after I fire it up the bottom end starts to bog until it hits mid range then it throws a big smoke ball and starts to put down the power again. You could hear the change in tone for the engine's entire range of power. I pressure checked my compleate fuel system underwater and no leaks were found. When the condition came on we temped the engine, it was right at 220. And for the main I installed a brand new Glowplug just to truthfuly see what the real issue as far as temp was. The plug looked brand new with a gloss of fuel on it "still not past a gallon yet keeping it rich" and no darkness on it at all after 15 min runtime. Engine also still well within the break in process because the piston will still get stuck at TDC when starting it cold.

I was running 20% byrons with 12% oil, OS p3 plug and a 063 pipe. I was recommended by the RacerNine crew to switch to 30% and at the same time went ahead and bought a STS pipe to match the engine with the proper pipe.
Still with all the issues with the Bog I TQ and had 3-4 laps on the field before the engine came loose in the main "Need to locktite them bolts".

Thanks for any insite
