how to run in AAC

Hi
Method for running in AAC please ?

Start with removing the head and just use the burnroom (maybe you need some M4 spacers to screw the burnroom tight).

Start te engine and run rich with a temperature of 80 to 90 Celcius.

After some tanks mount the head again and go on with the procedure on 80 to 90 Celcius.

With AAC engines we have several cooling heads and build it up to the right head and that is giving very good results.

Good idea there Roelof. I will have to try that (if I ever run an AAC motor again).

Most important, take your time.

Ofcourse, that is always needed with new engines.

Run in

I had great results wrapping foil around the head and running in non-stop at 220 f . I made a gallon jug up with parts from a airplane fuel tank. I have over 3 gallons on it and it's been fast . The break in I used is in the RB forum.
