Need some advice
 
i got a engine that has a tiny bit of rust here and there on the end of the crankshaft. it is nothing really but just wonted to clean it off and i was wondering what is the best way to do it.

mate I would get out the dremel and give it a buff up or use the wire wheel just keep an eye on how much is coming off:eek:

wouldnt that reck the enging its the around the crank pin (not on the crank pin but on that part of the engine

The red is not the rust i thought i would add some detail :)

you will have to take the crank out to do this, get a bit of fuel tube, cut it a little longer then the crank pin, fit it on the crank pin, if you slip it wont effect the pin in any way. use a small wire wheel of the dremmel, it wont take much to get it off. dont use polish, unless your willing to scrub the crank real good. polish is a corse paste, which if its not removed properly it will mix up with the fuel , and become a grinding agent. it creates wear. the wire wheel is plenty good enough, but still was the crank good.

it only got used once, and i had issues with da car.
i was happy with the speed of it, but may need to use it again some time soon.

is that the motor you used last meet ? the Murnan 3sct ? haha
my 3sct wasnt that bad, and im sure there is more potential to come from the MM353. time will tell. and pipe choice, and tyre stocks :lol:
speaking of which i am low for this weekend. will have a choice set for the Final, not the qualies this time :lol:
ps. dont scratch me new car this weekend, im more than capable of doign it me self :lol:

so many avenues i could go rowen, all in the name of fun, but i wont, considering the past.
ill also support Grub, his motors are fast, and so they shuold be, they are Murnans. i have only one, was used last year, i do ok with an underpowered car.
