Default "NEW" NINJA JX .12 ENGINE

Saw the prototype run yesterday, (Darin Ishitani used it at the Toys 4 Tots race at CP yesterday) it got insane power considering that it is only a stock version, my very reliable source told me that the final production version will be modified, with the crankshaft filled, balanced and diamond coated (hardened), the release date will be March 2009.

I should, but never though about it, I could imagine now that everybody is anxious to see how it looks like.

Does it look like Fukuda's engine below? I took these pics of Fukuda's car at the worlds recently. He had plenty of speed in Portugal, the thing was revving its head off down the main straight! Goes well for an OS based motor.

Huh? I'd say that the OS Speed SpecII is one of the fastest if not the fastest 2.11 cc engines available today.

So, if the Ninja will be like that engine it'll be a beast.

With a short life as I have heard of some OS users.....
Also on the WC the Ninja drivers dropped out by broken engines

We have more and more people switching to the OS Speed Spec II because it's killer fast and carries the well known OS reliability.

I have no clue what they ran at the Worlds, but I will be checking out this engine once it hits the market........

I've owned an O.S. tz prev. and the pinch was more than other motors brand new and thats why the rod gets abused a little more in break in.

Which Ninja? the GRP's or the new Prototypes?

Prob only Fukuda and Rick was running the prototypes at the WC? If so, did not read a report about the their prototypes engines broken..

*i may be wrong*

You have to replace them after break-in and maybe one day of racing. After that they hold up well.
